Swetha Prakash

I am a winner of Charles Wallace India Trust Award, I have been awarded a writer’s residency at the Isle of Jura for month when I was 29, which changed my idea of ecology, earth systems and also witchcraft (since I could read in many myths and witch tales of the land). I believe in post humanism and have authored the book African Creation Myths Club – a postmodern prose poetry collection for children because I do believe that Africa holds the mysteries of human language and human folklore. I have authored The Art of Story, which contains my original Madhubani paintings which are central to my Indic understanding and Indic worldview. I attended a storytelling class by Deepa Kiran and was continuously telling stories after that. These stories are my IKS and I hope to be storytelling journalist through these sites so that I can spread the glory of authentic people who have excelled in their art. Storytelling, and before that creative writing is an integral part of my own self-understanding process. I am working towards building the School Story Curriculum.
