The auricle or the outer ear flap of Suma’s ear helped capture sounds and her where they were coming from. Right now, Suma could hear the voice of her mother calling her in the deer park and the sound of the woodpecker tapping on a tree – both sounds reached her through the auricle and or outer ear flap.
